Gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered contractors and electrical work by NICEIC registered contractors, brought in where needed. Step 4 ### Worktops, splashback and tiling Worktops templated and fitted with tight joints in the right positions. Splashback or tiling installed and grouted. Solid timber worktops oiled and joined with through-bolt connectors. Quartz, granite and Dekton templated by our partnered stone fabricator, fitted by us within 5–7 days of template. Joint positions agreed up front — we never leave a joint in front of the sink. ### Appliances and services Integrated and freestanding appliances installed, levelled and tested. Gas hob connection carried out by a Gas Safe registered contractor brought in for the job. Extractor ducted to outside wall (not recirculating where ducting is achievable) for compliance with Approved Doc F. ### Older properties — out-of-true walls, settled floors Victorian and Edwardian properties rarely have a square wall. We level floors with self-levelling compound before units land, scribe end panels to take up wall undulation, and pack toe-kicks so the cabinet faces sit perfectly upright.
